NANB Supports Banning Cosmetic Pesticides

The Board of Directors of the Nurses Association of New Brunswick unanimously supported a province-wide ban on the use and sale of cosmetic pesticides for outdoor, non-agricultural use. The Association is calling for strong legislation, similar to that enacted in Ontario to protect the safety of family pets, drinking water and, most importantly, children. For additional background information, please visit NANB's web site or CAPE to order a Lawn and Garden Pesticides: Reducing Harm educational video.
